On Site – Logistics – Installation

PP O’Connor Project Details

PP O’Connor required an off-road barrier to secure a demolition site.

Specialising in civil engineering, bulk earthworks, remediation, complex demolition and deconstruction, PP O’Connor delivers a full construction service from concept to completion. PP O’Connor required an off-road barrier to secure a demolition site.

On-site quickly realised the demolition site was located near to public roads, passing vehicles & pedestrians. The barrier Safe Fence had to build, needed to be strong enough to protect against potential vehicle collisions but also tall enough to stop trespassers from climbing over it, Safe Fence provided all of the on-site installation, planning and support required to get this barrier in place quickly, affordably and within time estimates.

Instead of shutting the road down HERMEQ planned an alternative logistical route and accessed the planned works from behind and brought TVCB blocks from behind the fence line. Due to curve on in the fencing line, we sent extra posts and trimmed the fencing panels on-site to allow us to angle and curve the fence line – this enabled HERMEQ to complete all works without impacting traffic flow or pedestrian access to the site and avoid any risks to the public associated with transporting heavy materials to and from site.

After accounting for Site Safety, Materials & Project Management – HERMEQ completed all associated works & erected the structure on-time and within budget estimations.
